About Us
The Country Butcher & Deli, located on the Gonubie Main Road in East London, was founded in 2016 by Wimpie and Sam Botha. Both originally from the Eastern Cape, they have gained 28 years’ experience in the Restaurant and Butchery Industry across South Africa.
We are passionate about good food and committed to only providing the best quality meats to our customers. We love the concept of building relationships with our customers while serving them over the counter, but we are also keeping up with modern times to allow you to conveniently order via our website for delivery to your door.

We have an onsite kitchen where our experienced Chef cooks daily wholesome dinners. Pop in, phone or visit our Facebook page to see what the menu of the day is. A full time fast food menu is also available.
We also stock a wide range of freshly made salads, pre-cut veggies and other braai sides.
Our bakery produces the most delicious treats in-store, which are extremely popular with our customers. We can assist with catering for your special event, from platters to meals.
